This morning I picked up a couple things at my local grocery store and when I was checking out, I was approached by a man sitting outside the store, wearing dirty clothes and his hands covering his face.
He asked me if I could spare a few bucks for food, so of course, I gave him some money.
When he thanked me and walked off, I felt a tap on my left shoulder, I looked over and this lady said, “You know he will more than likely use that money for drugs or alcohol.”
I said, “You may be right, but if he is lying that says something about his character but hearing someone in need and choosing not to help when I am able to do so, says something about mine.”
I hope you enjoy this inspirational message passed on to me by a neighbor.
