- In-Person Attendance: Highly recommended. No unsworn declaration is required.
- Remote Attendance (Phone/Zoom): You are legally required by the Texas Tax Code to submit a completed, signed unsworn declaration to the Bexar Central Appraisal District before your hearing begins.
- The Penalty: If your unsworn declaration is not received before a remote formal hearing starts, the Appraisal Review Board will not allow you to testify or show your evidence, per Texas Tax Code.
