Our Family Moved to Oak Hollow Park
We purchased our home in Oak Hollow Park in 2005. We actually moved to Oak Hollow Park in San Antonio, Texas, the week after the Hurricane “Katrina” passed through Texas.
Devastation throughout many states and parts of Texas, but none in San Antonio. It does seem like there is a protective “bubble” over San Antonio, especially where I live in Oak Hollow Park.
Our community does have a 6 foot high cement wall along the main streets, but our neighborhood is not a gated community. We do not have any mandatory HOA rules. Homeowners maintain their own homes.
Our subdivision is adjacent to the intersection of Thousand Oaks and Jones Maltsberger Road, about 5 miles north of San Antonio International Airport.
Our neighborhood recently celebrated its 40th anniversary and consists of 296 separate family homes, each featuring majestic, mature oak trees. Our neighborhood features mid-sized homes that are reasonably priced.
We relocated from California and we enjoy the “southern hospitality” and having much less traffic in San Antonio, Texas.
If you are relocating and looking for a proud, peaceful family neighborhood in San Antonio, I bet you’d love living here as much as we do.
