We knew we needed a new pool filter cartridge because ours was leaking pool water like crazy. What I didn’t know, I found out when I drained the water from the pool. The pool plaster, walls and floor was so brittle. I climbed into the pool and every step was crack, crack and crack. Reminded me of a lake that froze over then started unfreezing. No doubt about it, my pool needed “re-plastering”.
I decided to call a neighbor, “Mr Pool Guy” Michael Kinnaird (Pebble Breeze) and he came over and started measuring. Next, his partner, Anthony Verduchi, came over with some numbers and the following day, early in the morning, 6 guys showed up and started demolition on my pool.
I remember the noise and my dogs constant barking. A few hours later. it looked unrepairable! That was on a Friday. I remember Anthony telling me the job will be complete on Monday. I couldn’t believe him. Come early Monday morning, with this crew you don’t need an alarm, I just heard my dogs barking and let the crew into the back yard. By lunch time, the pool was looking pretty good.
Before the crew left, they turned on my water and put the water hose inside the empty pool. The next morning, early, the dogs were barking and Anthony comes a knock-in’. The pool was full of water. Anthony cranked up the pool pump motor and the pump was pushing the water around the pool, better than before.
If your pool need help, call a neighbor! I want to thank Mr Pool Guy and his crew because later that day, my pool looked better than it ever has since I moved into Oak Hollow Park in 2005. Anyone want to share their Oak Hollow Park renovations?
