As her husband grabbed his coat and headed for the door, the wife called out with a playful grin, “I bet you don’t know what day it is!”

Pausing for a moment, he flashed her a confident smile and said, “Of course I do, sweetheart! How could I ever forget?” Then he hurried out, already planning his next move.

At 10 a.m., a delivery truck pulled up, and the wife was surprised with a stunning bouquet of long-stemmed red roses.

By 1 p.m., another package arrived—a decadent two-pound box of her favorite chocolates.

At 3 p.m., yet another surprise: a delivery from a boutique containing a gorgeous designer dress.

The wife was over the moon, practically buzzing with excitement as she awaited his return. When her husband finally walked through the door, he found her grinning from ear to ear.

She threw her arms around him and said, “The flowers, the chocolates, the dress! You’ve outdone yourself! This has been the best Groundhog Day ever!”

His proud expression froze for a moment. “Wait … Groundhog Day?”
