Bexar County’s new agreement benefits only homeowners that successfully protest their property taxes, by automatically “NOT” increasing their property taxes the following year!
Some homeowners protest their property taxes every year and the appraisers want to see them less often, like every other year.
If you do not protest you will pay the maximum amount every year.
On the downside … future property tax protests might require more evidence than prior years.
For Oak Hollow Park homeowners only … for the past few years I have created an annual video “how to successfully protest your property taxes in Oak Hollow Park” as a “template” that most every neighbor can duplicate by simply adding your address (and home details) instead of “Elmer’s.”
