The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch.
At the top of the table, with a large tray of apples. A nun put a sign above the apple tray:
“Take only one. God is watching.”
Moving down the lunch line, at the other end was a tray of chocolate chip cookies.
A girl in line was telling others, “we can take all the cookies you want; God is watching the apples.”
